We treat launches like a science.

Shown Media plans, writes, films and distributes product launches and funding announcements for tech and AI companies. We handle everything, from script to distribution. Successful launches land between 2 and 10M views, with hundreds of demos booked.

Brilliant’s launch post for Koji, its AI tutor, reached 4.8M views on X. Slash’s $100M Series C announcement drew 1.9M+ views in total. A launch typically takes 4 to 6 weeks from kickoff. We can’t guarantee a launch goes viral, but we can engineer for it.

Plays with sound.

Billion dollar companies use us to make their biggest announcements.

Our launches hit #1 on trending.

Going viral is a skill.

How the algorithm works

We reverse engineer how X and LinkedIn rank content, optimizing for sourcing signals and reply chains. Then we design the launch for those mechanics, so the algorithms push it.

On X, every post goes through a sample test. The algorithm shows the launch to a few hundred people and studies whether they stop scrolling, watch the video through and comment. Pass, and the post is pushed to the next tier. Fail, and the launch dies at 300 impressions, no matter what was spent on it.

We can’t guarantee a launch passes. We can engineer for it, and these are the four places we do.

  • The message

Merge has three products: an integrations API, an LLM infrastructure layer and an employee governance product. Folding them into one post would have sanded all three down to “infrastructure”.

So we recommended launching one product with one message. Agent Handler, and the security risk of employees connecting AI to company systems on their own.

  • The first line

“The first line of the launch is by far the most important line of every launch.” Done right, it is the difference between a 100K view launch and a 2M one.

Every first line goes through the mom-test. People who have never heard of the company read it, and it has to be clear to them why they should care. Merge’s line: “Your employee wants to give access to every AI tool your company runs on. Starting today, they can, safely”.

  • The incentive

Security launches die because nobody cares about security until after the breach. So the launch put $10,000 on the demo: a live agent with a public handle, and a bounty for anyone who could pull sensitive information out of it. It drove over 1,300 comments.

Parker put the offer inside the launch post. Comment “Parker” and get your Meta ads scanned and direct response scripts written back to you. Every comment is a signup lead, and every author reply reads to the algorithm as a live conversation.

Other launch posts carry the same kind of offer. Moda’s reads: “RT+ comment ‘Moda’ and we’ll design your brand for FREE.”

  • The first hour

Amplification only compounds when it lands inside the launch window, while the algorithm is still deciding how far to push the main post.

For Merge we lined up 15 creators and “released them as a wave instead of a drizzle”. That layer alone added 866K views.

Drawn from the deliverables listed in our case studies for Merge, Slash, WithCoverage and Parker.

4 to 6 weeks from kickoff to launch.

This is the typical schedule.

  1. Week 1

    Scripting

    Week one is the script.

  2. After the script

    Filming

Once we’re aligned on the script, we film.

  3. Weeks 3 to 6

    Storyboarding and post-production

Multiple rounds of revisions, until everyone is happy.

  4. Launch day

    Launch

The launch goes live. Impressions peak within 48 hours and then drop off.

We only take on a limited number of clients at a time. If you have a date, tell us early.

Amplification that lands in the first hour.

For B2B tech and AI companies launching on X and LinkedIn. We line up creators before launch day and release them together, while the algorithm is still deciding how far to push the main post.

For Merge’s Agent Handler launch, 15 creators released as a wave added 866K views.

Merge had already tried a launch on its own. Gateway went out in-house on X and LinkedIn on March 31, 2026, and saw minimal traction. It had influencer posts. What it lacked was timing.

Because we run launches every week, we know which influencer is which. The same vetted roster fired for Slash on each of four launches. One Slash launch pulled over 1.7M influencer views, without the spend the number implies.

What founders say after launch.

“The video launch was amazing. It brought a ton of new users and attention from top VC’s. They have extremely good talent.”

Romain TorresFounder of Arcads

“Best launch we've ever had. Most conversions in week one and week two, and everyone kept telling us how amazed they were by the video. You guys crushed it.”

Marlon MisraCofounder & CEO

“We’re going to take it light today guys you blew us up. It’s been insane. Crushed this launch. On top of self serve, the calendar is booked up for the next 3 weeks.”

Alex CooperFounder of Parker

“They absolutely crushed it. Matt is one of the best writers I have ever worked with. He knows exactly how to write something compelling and accurate. Their team of animators are incredible.”

Akash ShahFounder of Ingredient AI

Frequently asked questions

How do you know my launch will go viral?

We can't guarantee it, but we can engineer for it. When your product has real novelty and we position it correctly, the probability of going viral goes up dramatically.

What kind of results should we realistically expect?

Successful launches land between 2–10M views, hundreds of demos booked, and a serious spike in inbound. We amplify what's already there, so the stronger your product and offer, the bigger the upside.

How long do the results last? Is it just a spike?

Yes, it's a spike. Impressions peak within 48 hours and then drop off. But the mindshare you build during that window lasts way longer, driving consistent inbound and keeping you top of mind in your category long after launch.

How long does it take from start to finish?

Typically 4 to 6 weeks from kickoff to launch. Week one is scripting, then once we're aligned we film. Weeks three through six are storyboarding and post production, with multiple rounds of revisions until everyone is happy. We only take on a limited number of clients at a time, so if you have a launch coming up, book a call now to get on the calendar.

Announcing something in the next 90 days?

Send a short brief or book a call. We’ll map your positioning, define your bold claim and outline how we’d engineer the launch. We take on a limited number of clients at a time.
